Transatlantic sailing course
Lesson objectives
The course can be divided into two legs: Hyères – Azores, and Azores – Le Marin. Departing from Hyères, embark on an extraordinary experience: a true transatlantic sailing crossing to Le Marin in Martinique. Much more than a course, this journey is a complete immersion into the world of offshore sailing — a human and maritime adventure where every day matters and every mile sailed brings you closer to what truly matters. After leaving the Mediterranean and passing through the Strait of Gibraltar, you gradually enter the Atlantic, carried by the trade winds and the unique rhythm of the open ocean. On board a cruising catamaran, you live like a real sailor: watch rotations, night sailing, sail trimming, chart reading, and weather analysis all become part of your daily routine. Supervised by an experienced instructor with over 12 transatlantic crossings to his credit, you progress step by step in an environment that is both demanding and reassuring. This experience allows you to gain true autonomy in offshore sailing while sharing unforgettable moments with your crew: star-filled nights in the middle of the ocean, encounters with marine wildlife, spectacular sunrises, and the rare feeling of being completely disconnected from the world. Designed for sailors ready to take the next step, this course is aimed at those who dream of experiencing a transatlantic crossing in real offshore conditions, while being fully supported. It is an intense, formative, and deeply memorable adventure — one that leaves lasting impressions and transforms your relationship with the sea.Fournissez vos commentaires sur BizChat
