APACA was created by Hobie-Cat enthusiast Guy Pasquier in 1984. In that year, with two LOUISIANE catamarans, Apaca became the first company in the Mediterranean to offer multihulls for rent.
We have now grown to offer a fleet of 20 catamarans for rent. These range from 10 to 15 meters and include more modern and much comfortable boats such as Lagoon 380, 400, 420, 440, 500 or Power 43 and a Lavezzi 40.
Our main fleet comprises two categories of boat. Half of them are owned by APACA or its stockholders, and the other half by private owners using our exclusive rental-management scheme.
We have recently formed an additional fleet made-up of boats whose owners put them under occasional rental-management yielding revenue to cover running costs.
Our experience with multihulls has enabled us increasingly to develop our expertise in the sale of boats. We are agents of some years standing for Fountaine-Pajot and Nautitech and we have become the exclusive distributor for Lagoon boats in the Eastern Mediterranean.
We maintain good commercial arrangements with all the major multihull constructors and offer an advisory facility to help clients through the process of seeking and purchasing a suitable multihull.
Our boatyard, which is situated 3 km from the port of Hyeres, on the Côte d'Azur, provides crane and over-wintering facilities for multihulls up 17 metres.
JOIN US IN BUYING A MUTLIHULL UNDER RENTAL-MANAGEMENT
Under this scheme, you would purchase a multihull from us and place it, for a while, under our guaranteed rental-management. It would, whilst earning revenue, receive our expert care and maintenance and then at the end of the agreed period, you would retrieve your precious craft in perfect condition. After one season of our rental-management at Hyères, (from April to September), you could, if you wish, transfer the rental base to Tortola in the British Virgin Islands.
We are a small company and because our clients always deal with the same individuals, they come to trust each of us in our own particular speciality: Guy, Alexia, Florence and James for sales, Anne-Laure and Antoine for rental & management, Joël for major work.
